Midtown Radio is one of 20 arts organizations to receive a grant from the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.

Funds received from The Motz Family Endowment will be used to support Midtown Radio’s live-on-location broadcasting events. Throughout the summer of 2022, Midtown Radio live broadcast music from TWB, Jane Bond, and the Uptown Square. They have also been live broadcasting On the Scene from venues throughout KW and live recording podcasts from The Apollo. With funds the Waterloo Region Community Foundation and The Motz Family Endowment, Midtown Radio will expand live broadcasting in 2023.
